Our Approach
The BTC training pathway is built around ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for AI management systems. Every programme is designed to give learners not just knowledge but the practical judgement to apply it responsibly in their own organisation.
Training is delivered by Dr Ben Thompson, an ANAB-accredited ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer, certified TRECCERT trainer, and AI CERTs Advisory Board member. Every session balances taught content with applied exercises, discussion, and time for questions.

ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer Bootcamp — Available now
An evening bootcamp leading to TRECCERT’s ANAB-accredited ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer certification. Delivered live over 8 weeks (Standard) or 16 weeks (Extended), fitting around full-time work. Inaugural cohort starts 2 November 2026.
AI Governance Foundations E-Learning Course — Coming early 2027
A self-paced introduction to AI governance and the ISO/IEC 42001 standard. Ideal for anyone exploring AI governance or preparing to progress toward Lead Implementer certification.
ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor Bootcamp — Coming early 2027
The Lead Auditor pathway launches in early 2027, following the same evening bootcamp format as Lead Implementer.
